Gesso

Our Gesso was designed to protect the raw canvas and impart a desired tooth on which to apply oils or acrylics. This is done to improve the adhesion and seal the canvas to prevent the oils or acrylics from bleeding through the canvas. It is made using an excellent quality acrylic and a high pigment content to ensure good coverage. Our Gesso has a 25% more matt finish than the Canvas primer mentioned above.
